AIRD VILLA, Scalpay, on the Isle of Harris

Aird Villa with its south facing decking is said to be one of the nicest houses on the Isle of Scalpay. It sits overlooking Scalpay’s quiet North Harbour where the local fishing boats are moored. From the decking it's exhilarating watching the birds & boats as you are more or less right above the water's edge. The house has been renovated to a very high standard and is comfortable, light, spacious & warm. It has a modern clean feeling coupled with the charm of a traditional Scalpay island home.

Whether sitting outside on the balcony or from the comfort of the open plan living-room with full height cathedral windows, you can enjoy the gorgeous sea views and spectacular sunsets whatever the weather. Cosy Log Cabin Dog Friendly 'Laimishader '

'Laimishader' is a cosy 1 bedroom log cabin in a prime location to explore the historic attractions of the westside of Lewis.Located in close proximity to the Hebridean Way, Laimishader is ideal as a base to visit such sights as Callanish Stones, Garenin Blackhouses, and Doune Carloway Broch. Carloway is also home to 2 stunning beaches, Dal Mor and Dal Beag,and is ideal for hill walkers, cyclists, surfers,birdwatchers,or simply those looking for a relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings.

Croft 29 Chalet

'Croft 29 Chalet' was built in 2018 and is set in the beautiful area of Kilmuir, north Skye - just 15 minutes north of Uig. The chalet sleeps 2 (or 3). There is a double bed, and a pull-out sofa bed (which sleeps 1). Spacious shower-room, and separate living area with picture window which includes a kitchenette (sink, kettle, fridge, microwave). Outside there is a decking area and hammock so you can enjoy the peaceful surroundings and stunning views over the Minch to the Western Isles.

Skye Red Fox Retreat - stunning luxury glamping

The Red Fox Retreat is the ultimate luxury glamping getaway location. A twist on the more conventional ‘pod’, the cabin features a curved wood interior entered from an arched doorway in front of which is situated a perfectly appointed king sized bed with amazing views of the Trottenish Ridge and the croft (farmland) that surrounds the property. It is warm and cosy to protect against the elements and yet light and airy. The cabin is accessed via a spectacular large undercover deck area.

Heron's View

Heron's View is a lovely, light, airy, spacious and well presented glamping pod. It has all you need for a comfortable stay from a well kitted out kitchen, bathroom with full size shower to a comfortable sitting area. It has a double bed and the sofa converts to a double bed. It benefits from underfloor heating. It has an unique position with an uninterrupted view of the sea and surrounding landscape. It takes its name from the two Heron's that nest on the island opposite the pod.

The Mangersta Pod

When you arrive at The Mangersta Pod you will find yourself in an extremely clean and comfortable haven. To ensure you have a good night's sleep the camping mattresses were replaced by a comfortable mattress right from the start. Situated in the village of Mangersta on the Atlantic coast of Lewis, the pod is a few minutes walk away from a remote beach and stunning cliff walks. This is an area of exceptional natural beauty with over 20 beaches as well as beautiful moorland and lochs.

Close to Western Isles Bike route. 5 mins to shore line. 5 minutes from main road. 2 camp beds are available on request, no extra charge. Compost toilet. Fresh water in containers. No K Gas camping cooker. Water dispenser, into sinks from containers. Woodburner stove. Fuel supplied, locally cut Peat, Driftwood Shower and Toilet at Rockraven Cottage. Available till 9 pm. Lovely new modern cottage in rural crofting community west coast of the Isle of Lewis, Scotland, UK. It is situated in a quiet neighbourhood. The gaelic language is spoken in the village. There is a Harris Tweed mill in the village. There are lots of lovely sandy beaches near the cottage, one within a 10 to 15 minute walk depending on your ability. Other lovely beaches within a short driving distance from cottage.
