With an award-winning village pub a short stroll down the hill, a village shop and cafe, as well as Iford Manor with its renowned gardens just a stones throw away, there is plenty to do. You can also arrange to play tennis at the neighboring Hall.

The North Transept

The North Transept is part of our converted Victorian Gothic church. We've done all the conversion ourselves - the high ceilings and beautiful Gothic windows make it a unique space. It's in a small hamlet in a beautiful hidden valley surrounded by fields; there's lovely walking from the door and lots of local wildlife including roe and muntjac deer, pheasants, red kites and owls. It's easy to get to a wide range of local attractions like Lacock and Avebury and only half an hour to Bath.

The Old Stables is created from a stone built-stable block dating from the 1840’s. It is located in the beautiful Georgian village of Freshford which lies at the junction of the Frome and Avon valleys in the southern Cotswolds. There are some wonderful walks to local pubs following the riverside and canals. All just 15 minutes from Bath by car but the secret of this location is the 9 minute train journey to Bath from the village station, just a short stroll from the cottages.
