Gestahúsið er staðsett á sveitabænum Mófellsstaðakoti sem er 15 km frá Borgarnesi og 84 km frá Reykjavík. Það er mikið fjallaústsýni og víðáttu í rólegu umhverfi, þar sem þú getur séð hesta, kindur og hitt tvo skemmtilega hunda. Íbúðin er með 1 svefnherbergi þar sem eru 2 rúm og í stofunni er svefnsófi sem 2 geta gist. Á sumrin er sundlaugin Hreppslaug opin en hún er aðeins í 3 km fjarlægð. Það er margt að skoða í nágrenninu og þægilegt að keyra Snæfellssneshringin úr þessari gistingu.
