Tucked away on the outskirts of sleepy Lympsham, enjoy the countryside around you whilst resting your legs after walking the renowned mendips. Enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the many birds in the surrounding trees or be a little more adventurous with the numerous local cycle routes. We look forward to meeting you on your stay. Mechanic's Rest, a funky new place in Weston !!

The Mechanic's Rest is our latest addition to the Ellenborough Hall Holiday Flats. The old workshop for the Hall has recently been lovingly restored into holiday accommodation. On the ground floor is the living area with a fully equipped kitchen , a leather sofa, single chair, a TV and a Marshall Bluetooth speaker. There is a modern bathroom with a large walk-in shower. Upstairs on the Mezzanine is a luxury king size bed. Mechanic's Rest is fully self contained with secure off road parking.

Handy for tourist resorts of Weston-super-Mare, Cheddar Gorge. Nearest sandy beach is less than 10 minutes in a car.

The carriage has been hand built and reclaimed from an old Devon railway carriage into a luxury self contained space - perfect for romantic breaks in nature. Our annexe has been refurbished to provide a high-end environment, ideal for 2 adults to relax in. It is set in an area called the Allertons, a cluster of beautiful character villages. It is always a pleasure to stroll around. The pace is relaxed, the locals are very friendly and will direct you to the local pubs and shops if requested. The Mendip hills , Wells and Glastonbury are very near, and all offer so much for sight seekers.
