Located within 5 minutes of Boone Golf Course, restaurants, shopping and Appalachian State University. Our cottage offers 2 spacious bedrooms with tvs, a laundry room and 1 bathroom. Enjoy your relaxing studio cottage on the Linville River. You will enjoy a queen size bed, free WiFi, Smart TV (w/ premium cable), fireplace, fully stocked kitchen and washer/dryer. The main bed is a queen but there is a queen pull out couch to accommodate additional guests. You can comfortably and easily accommodated 4 guests. We’ll provide the linens, pillows, blankets, and towels that you’ll need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Helene update: the farm is undamaged and roads leading to it are passable. This farm cottage is located on a historic 40 acre farmstead behind a beautiful farmhouse (which is under renovation) with views of The Peak, Ashe County’s highest mountain. We are bordering Elk Knob State Park and a 10 minute drive to the park entrance. The farm is located in the historic Sutherland valley district and was built in 1807 by Thomas Sutherland.
