The Old Church of Ord was built in 1834 and has recently been upgraded into a four bed roomed , four bathroom , dog friendly property set in six acres. The main hall has a wood burning stove in the seating area and a further lounge upstairs with views overlooking the garden .Outside there is a fenced garden with a barbecue , patio and wood burning hot tub for 8 with views of the surrounding countryside and Moray Firth. The Waves is a terraced house within 5 minutes of the golf course and the beach and is an ideal home from home to enjoy with friends and family. Macduff, and the nearby town of Banff, offer bars, restaurants, shops, swimming pool, museum and heritage buildings, aquarium and 2 golf courses.

The old schoolhouse (built in 1866) has loads of character and feels remote and quiet despite being well situated just off the main Banff/Huntly road. Banff is about 5 minutes drive. The garden is large and you have full run of the whole premises during your stay. There are some lovely walks from the house.

In the nearby village of Tarland,there is a 9-hole course for the golf enthusiast.
