Location The villa is just a few steps from the characteristic square, the Vrijthof, with the two churches Saint Servatius and St. John, the theater and the museum at the Vrijthof and the many terraces. In walking distance you will find downtown with great restaurants, bars, terraces and nice shops. You won't notice the vibrancy of downtown in this villa. It is very quiet and you will probably only hear the sound of Servaas church. There is a big parking around the corner at a 25 meter walk. This special house is located in the centre of the village within walking distance of the shops and restaurants of the Merksplas municipality. The municipality is renowned for its 600-hectare historic cultural landscape, part of a unique ensemble of social colonies including Wortel (Hoogstraten), recognised by UNESCO, on the Dutch border. As of 1 April 2026, a tourist tax is mandatory. The tax amounts to €2 per adult (18+) per night, is not included in the price, and is payable on site.
