Escape suburbia at our quaint farm style house about a mile from Lake Superior and about 1/2 mile from Northland College. Guests describe our home as cozy & reminiscent of visiting their favorite coffee shop. The house offers 4 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom on the second floor & a half bath on the main floor. A portable crib is available for infants (30 1b max). Please note that we are in the process of having baseboards milled by a local crafts person who is also installing them when we are closed.

Amazing location! This Comfy Studio Condo sleeps 4, Whirlpool tub/shower,King bed & Queen sofa sleeper. Strong Wifi, balcony, AC, CableTV and fire pit wood provided. 1 minute walk to the marina. Bayfield is 2.3 mi from Brookside. Hike or bike the Brownstone trail along the lake. Take the ferry to Madeline, cruise the apostles, Sail, fish, kayak, golf, orchards, ski and more!! The pool and restraunt opens July 1st. 5 minutes from Bayview beach, Mt Ashwabay, Big top and Adventure Brewery.

An outdoor enthusiasts dream awaits at Rockhound Hideaway's Sodalite Shasta with opportunities for snowshoeing, skiing, hiking, and ending the day with a steamy sauna. This off grid, cozy 14' trailer is situated on a two acre lot with two other rentals and my full time residence on the edge of the Ottawa National Forest. A short walk to Black River Harbor, the North Country Trail & Lake Superior, this is a perfect getaway for those seeking a rustic yet comfortable stay with a campy feel.

Norrsken Scandinavian Cottage

The guest cottage is painted to resemble a Scandinavian retreat. Complete with separate bedroom, extra fold-out sofa queen bed, kitchenette, wood burning stove, WiFi (the best we can find but not great!!!) and large television (DirecTV), it is a great getaway for a couple or a family. Owners live on property if you need anything. If you are a bit adventurous, we can put up a tent right next to Lake Superior. The entire property is smoke free. For a quiet stay, no snowmobiles or ATVs.

Modern, rustic, Aframe cabin on 10 wooded acres; beautiful, simple décor, fully equipped kitchen, all appliances, glass stove top, airfryer oven, filtered H2O/ice maker. Enjoy a luxurious bathroom, with a heated tile floor, walk-in shower. Towels, shampoo/conditioner/bodywash are provided. King bed in loft and NEW king bed on main floor. Smart TV, wifi. Books, games The woodstove heats the cabin perfectly in the colder months. All wood provided. There is also a minisplit heat/ac unit.

Come stay on our hobby farm with us! We are in a great central location to multiple hiking trails and gorgeous falls. We have had many guests visit the sea caves in Cornucopia, spend the day in Bayfield, or hike the Porcupine Mountains. We also are only a few miles from the ATV trails if you would rather spend the day riding the trails. We have multiple places to mountain bike or kayak. Nestled in the middle of the Bayfield County Forest, this rustic, minimally maintained yurt has direct access to miles of non-motorized rec trails (mountain bike, cross-country ski and hiking). Our Finnish Farmhouse: 2 miles from ABR Ski Trails

Note: No Smoking, vaping, or cannabis anywhere on property and no pets allowed. Our Finnish Farmhouse is a log home that was first established in 1906. The home was purchased and completely renovated and restored from 2016-2020. The original logs have been restored on the interior of the home and many updates have been made. We are sure you will enjoy your stay with us.

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. Super easy to find right off US2. Close to any and all adventures in the area. There are 2 separate bedrooms and a pull out bed in the couch if needed. Fully stocked kitchen, extra blankets and pillows, games and a kids version of pool, air hockey, and foosball table in the basement.
