A newly renovated 700 sq ft cottage in a beloved farmhouse. The cottage sleeps 4 with a second-story bedroom including a king and queen bed and an ensuite bathroom. In the living room, there is also a cozy twin daybed. Check-in is seamless with keyless entry and includes a washer and dryer, fire pit, two parking spaces, and one dog under 50 lbs welcome. Under 10 minutes from the interstate, UNE, Amtrak, some of the most beautiful beaches in Maine, and several fantastic restaurants and breweries.

Welcome to a truly unique stay! Our property is home to two special ventures—our goat rental business, Scapegoats, and our nonprofit animal sanctuary, Mousam Misfits. While goats are part of the charm, they’re just the beginning—you may also see a variety of rescued animals during your visit. If you love animals and a one-of-a-kind experience, you’ll feel right at home here! We are about 150 ft from the Mousam River, and guests have access to kayaks (for free!) Modernly updated 1860's cape with uneven lines and uniqueness. The home has 2 bedrooms on 2nd floor. The stairs to the second floor can pose a challenge to young children or older people. The 1st floor has a full kitchen, living room, and bathroom with a walk in shower. The main entrance is off the patio on to a sunroom that has a washer and dryer. The home is on a 1.5 acre lot that is shared with the owners work barn. The back yard is private with lawn, flower beds and lots of trees.
