House by the sea and The Seal Woman

A house on the edge of the cliff. Direct view form the living area of the famous statue "The Seal Woman" and the steepest mountains in the Faroe Island. On 1st floor there is kitchen and living room in one room. In the kitchen there are the normal facilities. There is also a bathroom with shower. Upstairs there are two bedrooms that can accommodate 7 people. Outside the house there is a small balcony, where you can enjoy the spectacular view. You need to take a ferry to get to the house.

Lundi Cottage is one of the Múlafossur Cottages located by the world-renown waterfall in the village Gásadalur on the Faroe Islands. It is only a 10-20min drive from the only airport on the islands, shops and cafes as well as some of the most astounding Faroese sceneries such as Drangarnir, Tindhólmur and the lake Sørvágsvatn/Leitisvatn. We promise a truly magical and secluded place, with sights of sheep, birds and highland cows - all nestled by the river that leads down to the waterfall.

Lejligheden har en fantastisk udsigt og er et stenkast fra vand og fjeld. Der er 8 min. gang til nærmeste bus, som du kan tage gratis ind til Torshavns centrum, eller gå den smukke tur langs vandet, som kun er 3 km. til centrum. Lejligheden er 70 m2 med køkken, stue, badeværelse og to små soveværelser, det ene værelse har to enkelte gode senge, som står sammen 180x200 og det andet har en god seng 140 x 200 . Værelse 1 er med gennemgang til værelse 2! Udenfor indgangen er der havemøbler.

Regular sightings of porpoises and numerous seabird species and occasional whale sightings (seasonal). Opportunity to use jacuzzi and sauna for additional charge of 200kr upon request. Lovely little cottage in a quiet environment, while still only a 25 min walk to the city center of Tórshavn. Free busses drive to the center and the stop is only a 8 min walk away. There are horses, sheep, geese and hens right outside. P.S. This place does not have a formal address. The location on the photo by google maps is correct, but the name of the address is not.
