Casstevens Homestead Farm House (Entire House)

Casstevens Homestead House located on 145 acres near Mansfield. great for long walks in the country, or a place to get away. This is a working farm with livestock. House is approximately 150 years old, dating back 5 generations. There are large back pastures for walking out in the country. Pets are welcome, but we do have Great Pyrenees on the farm to protect our chickens. They are very friendly but the will probably greet you at the door. We can stable your horses for riding on request.

Just walking distance to the historic downtown Cleburne, you could not find a more charming and quaint place to enjoy your stay. The Yellow Jacket Cottage is close to downtown dining, shopping and entertainment. Garden Of Eating, Our Place, Mug On The Square and Gilati's Ice Cream Parlor along with Plaza Theater, Songbird Live and quaint antique shops all only blocks away. YJC offers a queen bed, pull out sofa, full kitchen and washer and dryer. We also offer a book full of fun things to do!

Private Brazos River Cabin - Hamm Creek Park

Enjoy a spectacular river valley view, while you relax in this charming private cabin just minutes away from boat ramp access. This cabin sleeps four, with a queen bed downstairs and another queen bed upstairs. It has a full kitchen with a coffee maker, coffee and WiFi. Pets are also always welcome. Bring your fishing poles, boat or kayaks and head over to Hamm Creek Park to enjoy the tranquility of the river. Approximately 50 minutes from Fort Worth and an hour and 15 minutes from Dallas.

The Shack

The SHACK is an eclectic space that evolved from our love of building with repurposed materials. Includes old cedar fence pickets, floor tile is made from an old tree. As The SHACK took shape we decided that the theme is sort of anything redneck construction including duck tape, even has a chain link clothes line. With all the amenities of course!! We hand built the custom waterfall sink faucet. Bed is held up w/log chains, tile shower that resembles a quilt w/ exposed copper plumbing.

1890's Bunkhouse Getaway

Make some memories at this family-friendly place. Built in the late 1890's, this bunkhouse was a place to rest for working cowboys. Today, you can enjoy the updated home by watching horses peacefully graze, enjoy a cookout, play a board game, or read. Located two miles from downtown Alvarado and has two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a study space, and internet connection. There is a fenced area of the backyard for dogs to run around. Riding lessons are available dependent on schedule.

Adorable Guest Cottage

Large open concept studio with queen bed, full size sofa bed, fully stocked kitchen with full size appliances, covered parking, satellite TV, coffee, and tea provided. The bed and living area are shared space as this is a studio. The cottage is located behind main residence with self check in and check out ease. Outdoor dining can be enjoyed on the porch or enjoy sitting in covered gazebo swing. It is our desire to bless travelers with a comfortable and affordable place to stay.

Family farmhouse located on a horse ranch & rescue

Our rustic farmhouse is located on a horse ranch and rescue. The updated kitchen provides everything you need to prepare meals. Relax next to firepit overlooking our scenic horse ranch or cook on the gas BBQ grill. The home is a duplex, (both sides can be rented together when available). This side has 1 bathroom with an antique bear claw soaking tub with a shower conversion. The bedroom has a queen bed and there is a futon in the living area.

Wanderer

Camp in luxury in this boutique glamping cottage nestled in the trees. It is complete with a queen size bed, coffee bar, mini fridge, a/c and heat, front porch, outdoor furnishings, fire pit and picnic table. It is a 1 minute walk to the uniquely crafted stone and cedar bathhouse, which has a real toilet, sink and hot shower. Fire pit has a grill grate but bring anything else you need for cooking (pans, utensils, etc.)
