A suite-style cabin among the historic Triple R Cottages, the Miner's Cabin is small rustic and cozy cabin with a queen bed and ¾ bath. Amenities include a kitchenette, dinnerware, stove, microwave and mini fridge. Patio has a gas grill, and patio furniture. Free DVD rentals. Close to downtown Estes Park and RMNP. This historic yet modern 500 square foot cabin was built in 1932 for men working on the Shadow Mountain dam. When we found it, we knew this would be the perfect getaway for us and wanted others to share this experience too. Our cabin is 4 miles from downtown Grand Lake! It's a short drive to restaurants, shops, hiking, fishing, the beach and kayak/boat rentals. Head to the Rocky Mountain National park to hike and see wildlife or stay home and enjoy s'mores around the fire.
