Be lulled to sleep by the peaceful river under the stars of a beautiful Blue Ridge Mountain view. We love the island feeling it has with a little log waterfall and a lot of natural sand between our toes. We can provide new queen air mattress for A frame, up to 4 hammocks, or feel free to bring your own, a tent, a small camper, etc. The road in is relatively flat, but is natural ground. A primitive outhouse is on site as well as a gas grill and firewood. Dogs are welcome if picked up after.

Blue Ridge Parkway 1 1/2 miles away, eateries and Shatley Springs nearby. Jefferson and West Jefferson 15 to 20 minutes away. New River State Park 10 minutes away. Winery minute away. The 4 M's Farmhouse

Charming, updated farmhouse built in 1910 on 2.5 acres with a pond in the front, two streams and a Christmas tree farm in the back. Less than a mile off the parkway and 15 minutes from New River Outfitters, who provide float trips down the New. Excellent trails within a 5 minute drive. Or just hang out at the house and enjoy the peaceful scenery from the front porch or deck. There is also a winery a couple minutes down the road. Perfect spot for hikers, motorcyclists, kayakers and tubers.

Completely re-varnished with gorgeous new color exterior both on the chalet and decks. Ring the bell on the porch and Feed the deer as they come right into the backyard on a nightly basis. The chalet fits perfectly from couples to multiple families or even just the solo adventurous traveler. There is a two-night minimum. On all major holidays there is a three-night minimum.
